Katie was a substitute teacher at the school where Schuyler was working as an ed tech. He caught her eye and she was thrilled when they crossed paths at a cafe downtown a few days later. Their journey together has taken them all around central, southern, and midcoast Maine. One pandemic, two cats, two mountain bikes, two masters programs, and a million adventures later they were married at an intimate Bar Harbor Yacht Club ceremony followed by a large reception at Schuyler’s family home.
